Martin Sime - Chief Executive
Martin leads the staff team at SCVO. He reports directly to the Board, who are elected from our membership organisations.

Lucy McTernan - Deputy Chief Executive
Lucy is has an overview of all of SCVO’s operations. With a background in policy, research and public affairs, Lucy is responsible for sustaining good external relationships with SCVO’s key stakeholders in the public, private and voluntary sectors. Lucy is also responsible for facilitating the organisation's strategic planning.

Tim Hencher - Director of Finance and Resources
Tim is responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day operation of the key support services, Finance, ICT, HR and Facilities. He is also on the committee of Scottish Charity Finance Directors' Group.

John Downie - Director of Public Affairs
John leads the Public Affairs department, including the policy and research team and the communications and campaigns team. He has lead responsibility for SCVO's internal and external communications and engagement with politicians.

John Ferguson - Director of Development
John leads SCVO's Development team, and Rural Affairs teams. This includes our work on Goodmoves, Equalities, Social Economy, the rural dimension of Scotland's voluntary sector as well as engagement with and monitoring of European Structural Funds.

Paul White - Director of Networks
Paul leads on SCVO's work developing collaborations and partnerships, including work with sector intermediaries and support organisations such as the network of Councils for Voluntary Service (CVS) and Volunteer Centres. He also has responsibility for member support and services such as information, training and member deals.

Donna Mackinnon - Director of Employment Services
Donna leads SCVO’s engagement in employability programmes and provides strategic guidance to the Directorate and Board on SCVO’s ongoing and future engagement in the employability agenda. This includes work on the Future jobs Fund and Employment Initiatives.
