On Wednesday 9th June 2010, Donna Mackinnon, Director of Employment Services at SCVO was presented with the DWP Supplier Excellence Award in London, having faced some excellent competition in the Third Sector category.

This award is a testament to the way the Third Sector has pulled together to deliver this initiative - benefiting thousands of unemployed individuals across Scotland. The Consortium was particularly commended for the speed in which it commenced delivery, the number of organisations who have been involved, and the fact that it has already created and filled over 1100 jobs across all 32 Local Authority Areas in Scotland.
