SCVO Welcomes New Members
SCVO's Management Board agreed 47 membership applications when it met on 30 April 2008. Our new members include both well established and new organisations from the Highlands to the Scottish Borders. These organisations cover a diverse range of work and are both large e.g. Marie Curie Cancer Care, the Shaw Trust and Renfrewshire Council and small in size as evidenced by the 34 new Grassroots Members that have joined. Dormant Bank Accounts Fund Consultation Survey
The Scottish Government has begun its consultation on the priorities for the Dormant Bank Accounts Fund. This online survey offers you the chance to register your opinion on how the money should be spent.

SCVO has launched its
Trustee Database on its
Governance Project Website. The
'Be A Trustee' channel of the website was made possible thanks to the kind generosity of
MacRoberts Solicitors, a firm which specialises in corporate and commercial law and offers advice on a wide range of legal areas, including charity law. The
‘Be a Trustee’ Channel is the place where you can find out everything you need to know about being a trustee of a charity or voluntary organisation.
E-Learning: SCVO runs a number of
programmes and courses through E-Learning and several are free to users of the SCVO website. Courses currently on offer cover
Branding,
