There is now a new self regulatory scheme for fundraisers operated by the Fundraising Standards Board (FRSB). By agreeing to abide by a set of rules the fundraiser is entitled to use the FRSB 'tick' which is intended to serve as the public's guarantee of confidence in the fundraiser. The FRSB will also serve as a point of redress for the public if they have a problem with a 'ticked' fundraiser. For more information see the link below.
