Individual Learning AccountsSCVO courses are now eligible for Individual Learning Account funding. If you are 16 or over, earn £18,000 a year or less and live in Scotland you could be eligible for £200 to pay for SCVO courses. You must ensure that you have opened your ILA account and quote your ILA account number on your booking form. To open an ILA account, go to

*Short Course Spotlight*Scottish Charity Accounts - 28 October 2008, Edinburgh
This course looks at charity accounting requirments under the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006. It will cover the different types of accounts - Receipts and payments/Accruals accounts, with a detailed look at the format and content of each, using worked examples to show how the Regulations apply in practice. It will also cover external scrutiny requirements (audit or independent examination) and reporting to OSCR.
